Kristi Miller Nunn
Executive Director
Kristi Miller Nunn is the Executive Director of Ohio America Pageants. Kristi is the former Mrs. Ohio America 2019, achieving a goal she’s had since childhood. Since her reign, Kristi remained active in the Ohio America organization and made it her mission to help other women realize their potential and achieve their dreams through pageantry. In 2023, she rebranded the system to Ohio America Pageants and added 4 Junior Divisions to create a developmental program for your girls and teens.
Professionally, Kristi has dedicated the last 20 years building a career in natural health. A graduate of Trinity College, she is a Board-Certified Naturopathic Doctor and a certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach. in 2017, she received the American Naturopathic Medical Association’s Higher Achievement Award. Kristi has a diverse performing background, spending over 8 years with the Columbus Blue Jackets/Columbus Destroyers as a professional cheerleader, and actively participating in community theater. During her time as Mrs. Ohio, Kristi became involved with several local charities, and enjoys spending time volunteering in the community. She is a current member of the Columbus Fashion Council, which produces the 3rd largest Fashion Week in the country. Kristi is also involved with Columbus Young Professionals, serving on the Leadership Council. Her son, Jaksen, is a marketing major at the University of Cincinnati. Kristi and her husband Daniel reside in Lewis Center, Ohio with their three dogs.
Kristen Houchin
Contestant Coordinator

Kristen Houchin is a versatile and accomplished individual. Crowned Mrs. Ohio America in 2021, she co-hosts the popular pageant podcast "The Pageant Buzz." Since giving up her crown, Kristen has remained actively involved in the Ohio America sisterhood with everything from helping production backstage, lending her extensive pageant wardrobe, and giving new queens valuable advice. In addition to her role as Contestant Coordinator, Kristen serves on the Ohio America Ethics Committee.
Beyond the pageant world, Kristen advocates for the Dragonfly Foundation and The Child Rescue Coalition, using her platform to support important causes.
With a love for rhinestones, themed events, and Dolly Parton, Kristen brings enthusiasm and energy to everything she does, making a meaningful impact in both pageantry and philanthropy.
Ed Moore
Stage Manager
Ed Moore has spent more than two decades working in professional sports, theatrical and arts environments.

He has worked in game operations and event presentations for
the National Hockey League (NHL), Arena Football League (AFL), and Minor League Baseball (MiLB). Ed contributed to a variety of capacities including field, floor, and stage management for the Arena Football League (AFL), auditioning cheerleaders and promotional team members in the Arena Football League (AFL) and the National Hockey League (NHL). In 2023, Ed was named Stage Manager for the new Women's Professional Volleyball League (PVF).
Additionally, Ed is an accomplished artist in two- and three-dimensional works. His artwork has been exhibited nationally including Chicago, Miami, and New Orleans, among others. In addition, Ed has many years of casting experience for print, digital commercial work, and film productions. He holds master’s degrees in nursing, Health Education and Art Therapy. Ed currently works as the Director of Finance and Human Resources for the Columbus Museum of Art.
Ashley Muscroft
Technical Director & Stage Manager
Ashley has been a stage manager for 23 years at theaters all over the world. She began her career as a commercial actress at age 2 and had starred in over 200 commercials by age 8. Ashley still continues performing today, her most recent production taking place at The Palace Theater in Columbus, OH. Formally educated in theater, film, and television acting and production; Ashley graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2008.
Bethany Lee
Choreographer
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Bethany’s training began at the Charlotte City Ballet Company. She then studied at the Houston Ballet on full scholarship. After graduating in 2005, she joined BalletMet and danced for the company for eleven seasons. Bethany is currently a faculty member of The New Albany Ballet Company and enjoys guiding the next generation of dancers. Bethany and her husband live in Central Ohio with their three young children.
Courtney Roberts
Choreographer
Courtney began in dance training with Shir Lee Wu of Columbus Youth Ballet. She spent time with Canada’s National Ballet School, School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Miami City Ballet before beginning her professional career at New York City Ballet. A Central Ohio native, Courtney returned home to join Ballet Met before retiring in 2015. She resides in Columbus with her husband and 3 children.
Jaksen Shier
Stage Kid
Jaksen helps with the administrative and technical aspects of our production. Everything from running ticket sales, operations, and assisting our photography team. He is a marketing major at the University of Cincinnati.
